(The worst is yet to come)

A full-blooded detective story. A thrilling plot. It can't be a debut!

Mariusz Czubaj

The gloomy autumn in Toruń. A journalist named Marek Bener has just found out that he would be fired. One of his last reporting tasks is a trip to the burnt house. It turns out that Bener's old friend, who seduced his fiancée years ago, died there. Now a desperate woman wants some support from the journalist, but soon she disappears without any sign ...

Bener knows that he must find her. Unfortunately, the criminal game in which he gets entangled has no clear rules. The journalist does not even suppose that a seemingly ordinary day will turn into a fight for life. The reporter must find the truth that will completely change him.
